After the huge success of the first season, which kept everyone on their toes, fans of Turtle Me super popular story The Beginning After the End finally got some really exciting news – Season 2 is finally coming back. The official anime website just dropped the announcement that it is going to premiere in April 2026. And yes, it’s looking like it will be bigger, bolder and packed full of magic.

They already shared a new teaser trailer and some key visuals, giving us our first proper look at what’s coming next. And let me tell you, our favorite hero Arthur Leywin in this new season looks older, stronger and totally ready to face all the crazy dangers of this ever-growing scarier world. Fans are already freaking out online, guessing about the new villains, monsters and maybe some intense political drama too.

For everyone outside Japan, guys you don’t have to worry! Crunchyroll has released an English-subtitled version of the teaser at New York Comic Con, and they are going to stream this new season world wide when the new episodes air in Japan. So seriously, no matter where you live you won’t miss a single magical moment of this action adventure anime.

So the season 2 of “The Beginning After the End” is all set to be released on Japan Ultra programming block which include channels like Fuji TV, Kansai TV and AT-X. This time, the story will take us into the life of our favourite mc Arthur Levin, after a huge time jump – and he is no longer the little child he used to be. He’s now bigger, much more powerful, and his control over magic and combat seems next level.

If you have read the web novel you probably already know that things will get pretty dark from here on out. The tone of the story changes significantly – more danger, more emotions, and much deeper drama. Arthur is about to face more powerful enemies than ever before, including political twists and conflicts that will test him to his core. The teaser visuals have already given fans chills with Arthur looking extremely determined, powerful and much more mature. It feels like that he is ready to protect his loved ones no matter how difficult the path may be.

So yes, many of your favorite characters are returning in “The Beginning After the End” Season 2. Arthur Levin, of course, remains the main attraction – combining the sharp mind from his previous life with some highly advanced magical skills. This time, he will need both, as things are rapidly deteriorating. Tessia Eralith is also back, and her healing powers and pure heart will play a big role in what’s to come. And yes, we have Grey, a calm and trustworthy friend who never fails to add a funny yet heartwarming moment. Lucas Wykes will also be making a comeback, and frankly, there’s still a lot we don’t know about him but he is definitely hiding something.

However the world is getting much bigger and more exciting and It seems Season 2 is taking everything up a notch—the battles, the feelings, and the stakes.

The Beginning after the End season 1 was released between April 1 and June 2025, and, in fact, it was a total banger. It showed how Arthur was reborn in this magical world and how he learned to fight, and to use magic and how he met all those best people who became his friends (and some enemies too). Coming to the final, things have  gotten really serious. There was a big cliffhang, and there were some deep signs of the coming danger, and Arthur began to take responsibility more than ever. There’s a lot of discussion for this upcoming season. First, the season 1’s animation was extremely fantastic at watching, and fans are hoping to make it even better than studio A-Cat. Second, the story is becoming even more complicated in itself, including political tension and emotional moments with intensive magical battles. And finally, Turtle Me participation as a story supervisor makes fans believe that this anime will be fully dedicated to its beloved web novel and also add new surprises to it. 

Now it is absolutely clear that The Beginning After the End Season 2 is going to be bigger, bolder and magical than ever and fans have been waiting for this moment for a long time.
